These shrimp cakes are absolutely amazing and guess what, they’re so simple to make! You literally just throw everything into a food processor, wait for it all to come together and you’re done! That’s it.

To make these you will need:

Approximately 1 pound of shrimp
Handful of chopped coriander
Splash of fish sauce
Juice of 1 to 2 limes
1 to 2 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon of flour
Handful of mint
Salt and Pepper, to taste

METHOD:

All you have to do for this recipe is prepare all of the ingredients and place them into the food processor until it all comes together. Once that’s done, place the mixture onto a flat surface and start to shape it into flat discs. Now it’s time to fry them! Make sure you have hot oil in a frying pan and then place the cakes into the oil until both sides turn golden brown.

These shrimp cakes would not be complete without a yummy dressing to dip them into.

YOGHURT DRESSING:

What you will need:

2 cups of yoghurt
Handful of chopped coriander
Splash of sesame seed oil
Juice of 1 lime
Salt and pepper, to taste

Method:

Just as easy as making the shrimp cakes! All you have to do is mix everything together in a bowl and you’re done!

These make for a great appetizer at a dinner party, snack, meal, or when you feel like an Asian kick to your day!
